Football Betting Rules
All football match betting markets are based on 90 minutes play otherwise known as normal time played. Normal time includes any time added on by the match official at the end of normal time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs do not count unless otherwise stated.
Pre-match betting is a bet defined as a bet placed before an event has started.
Matches scheduled to play for a shorter duration, such as 60, 70, or 80 minutes will be visible in the event description, and in all instances, the respective matches will adopt the same market settlement as with normal time.
The settlement will occur in real-time. In the event of a dispute, the settlement will be validated using at least two reliable and official data sources. Only results on the field of play count for betting purposes, and adjustments to settlement will not be made for any respective changes or adjudications made by governing bodies. For Matches played at Neutral venues, the team listed on the left will be classed as the home team for settlement purposes.
Bet cancellations: Customers should ensure their bets are correct. Once a bet has been struck, that bet will stand for settlement purposes, or be considered at the discretion of the company. See
General Terms and Conditions
In-Play Betting & Scoreboards
Every effort is made to ensure all Live In-Play and Notifications displayed are correct, however, information is intended to be used as a guide and we assume no liability in the event of any information being incorrect. Please be aware that live transmissions by some broadcasters, can be delayed and that this delay may vary between customers depending upon factors such as their connection or buffering speed.
In-Play bet acceptance
In-Play bets are subject to an automated time delay before bet acceptance. During bet acceptance, if the price changes on a selection, revised price updates automatically in your bet slip.
If there is a marginal price change on a selection, the bet will be accepted at the larger price, however, if the price change is significant, it will be re-offered in the bet slip at the new price.
A betting market may be suspended when something of significance occurs, or is likely to occur, and may also be suspended or withdraw due to the time elapsed in the match. Betting markets may also be suspended if the market becoming uncompetitive or for technical reasons.
Cash Out
Cash Out is generally available on single and combo markets for all Soccer and other sport market types and can be cashed out when the value indicates as such. Cash Out bets can be accessed in the open bets tab or my cash out bets tab. The pre-determined settlement value is offered based upon the selections, prices taken, and current bet status and is non-negotiable. And at any time, its value will change according to open bet status. If the Cash Out value changes during settlement a revised settlement value will be re-offered for acceptance.
Cash Out is an automated facility and is subject to availability and will not be available for bets placed that trigger a free bet as part of a promotion. Cash Out values with obvious pricing errors, will be only be settled based on the original bet request.
VAR reviews
Bets are settled on regular play only. If the referee changes a decision after consulting with the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), the decision will be reflected in any related bet settlement.
Abandoned Matches
Where a match is abandoned, all bets are void unless the outcome has already been determined. For example; Tottenham 4 Arsenal 0 abandoned after 42 minutes, o/u goal markets up to o3,5 would have been concluded, as would 1st 2nd, 3rd, and 4th goal scorer markets
Change of Venue
If a venue is changed and is not published or known to us at the time the prices or handicaps are advertised, bets placed on that match will stand providing the match is not switched to the opponent’s ground, in which case bets placed on that match will be made void.
Related Contingencies – Bets Within the Same Event
Related bets occur when combining two or more markets into an accumulative bet where the outcome of one market wholly or partly impacts upon the outcome of another, such as Liverpool win 2-0 and Liverpool to win the match.
If a bet is inadvertently accepted combining two or more bets where the outcome of one market wholly or partly impacts upon the outcome of another, the stake will be invested in the selection with the largest price. Where two or more selections are quoted at the largest price, the stakes will be equally divided between them. Bets for the same selection to win more than one event, such as Tottenham to win the Premier League and the Champions League, are only offered when a special price is advertised.
Winning Selection Established in the Market
Conclusive bets placed are settled in real-time, based on data feeds from our official data feed provider.
Club and International Friendlies
All bets will stand regardless of the venue.
