Tennis Betting Rules

Tennis is a racket sport that can be played individually against a single opponent or between two teams of two players each. Each player uses a tennis racket that is strung with cord to strike a hollow rubber covered with felt over or around a net and into the opponents. The object of the game is to maneuver the ball in such a way that the opponent is not able to play a valid return. The player who is unable to return the ball will not gain a point, while the opposite player will. Tennis is a sport and is played at all levels of society and all ages.   • All tennis bets (including any specials or statistics-based bets) will be settled following the official website of each tournament’s governing body.
  • In the event of a tennis match not taking place or if a player is given a walkover, bets on any such match are determined void.
  • If one player withdraws (retires) or is disqualified after the first set has been completed, the player progressing to the next round or who is awarded the match by the umpire will be considered the winner. If the first set has not been completed, all Match Bets will be void.
  • If the first set has not been completed, all Match Bets will be void, unless unconditionally determined.
  • If the match does not reach a natural conclusion, any markets, Match Betting aside, that are not unconditionally determined will be void.
  • In the event of a change to a change of playing surface, venue, or change from indoor court to outdoor and vice versa, all bets will stand.

Tennis Current Set Winner (Live)

Predict the player to win the Current Set. If a player retires from a match during the set, and before the set has been completed, the set shall be determined incomplete, and the market declared void.

Tennis Game by Game Betting (Live)

Predict the game score. Example:  Server wins to 30.

Total number of games in the match, Example

Under/Over 27.5 games Result = Over In the event of a retirement, bets will be void unless at the time of the withdrawal the result of the total games is already determined. If a match is abandoned at 5-7 6-3, 4-2, bets on Over/Under 26.5 games are settled as winners and losers respectively, as the market would have already been determined.

Tennis Handicap Betting

Pick the player to cover the set handicap. Example:

Set handicap: Federer -1.5 sets, Nadal +1.5 sets Set Score = 2-1 Result = Nadal +1.5 sets

Tennis Handicap Betting

Pick the player to cover the set handicap. Example:

Tennis Game handicap: Federer -2.5 games, Nadal +2.5 games Total Games won = Federer 17, Nadal 14

Tie-Break

A tie-break is counted as one game for betting purposes. A set which finishes 7-6 is determined to have played  13 games

Team competitions (Davis Cup, Fed Cup,  Hopman Cup, Laver Cup)

All bets on the winner of the team competition stand as soon as the first ball of the first game is played.
